uPrompt – freeware teleprompter software turns you into a Saturday night anchor

uPrompt is a new freeware teleprompter program which gives you all that cool smooth scrolling text up the screen so beloved of presidents TV anchors. Now you can talk straight to screen and fool your webcam into thinking you actually know what you’re doing. Good luck with the running for office thing, though.

uPrompt is designed to be a very simple, limited use, yet effective teleprompter. Using left-hand keyboard commands for controlling scripts, uPrompt leaves the right hand free for using the mouse. This makes uPrompt perfect for scrolling audio scripts while capturing other desktop applications.

  • TeleKast is another freeware that is so similar, perhaps uses the same source code. but I think TeleKast has active development so it might be something to also look into.

    • Oh cool pointer, thanks. :)
