Diskspace Fan is a new free Windows utility for exploring space usage on your hard drive. Instead of boring lists, you get a nice colorful graphic which you can dig into to find out what files and folders are hogging space on the disk. It’s not as intuitive as something like TreeSize, but it does offer a nice alternative. Check it out.
Disk Space Fan is a freeware and it is a nice disk space analysis tool for Windows. It helps you to free up disk space by quickly finding and deleting big, useless files. It displays disk space usage with a nice chart. You can navigate the folders easily with the chart. It is also intergrated with Windows Explorer to open, delete and browse files or folders.
It's a ripoff from DaisyDisk for Mac (http://www.daisydiskapp.com)
I've used Report and although its great, I've had better luck with WheresTheFreeSpace. It is Modeled after a PC application that is very popular called Treesize (but its for Mac).
Thanks for the information! Besides TreeSize and Disk Space Fan, one great alternative is also WinDirStat. Although it doesn't have such cool graphic analytics, it is still a reputable and free tool for freeing up space on your hard drive.
