FotoMix – freeware lets you create cool photo collages with ease

Fotomix

FotoMix is a freeware program for creating photo collages, easily. The software excels at the job because the interface is super simple and the tab format makes it a snap to combine different images into the one, without having to worry about layers and all that sort of stuff.

You can tweak backgrounds, customise transparency (a really useful little feature) and do a bunch of conventional editing tasks on single or multiple images, all inside a clean and very easy to use UI.

It’s not, of course, as powerful as the all knowing Photoshop, but in terms of getting this single task done, it’s perfect and I guarantee I’ll find a use for it sooner rather than later. There are adverts in the right hand column, but it’s a small price to pay for a cute little tool like this. A keeper.

FotoMix is a versatile program that allows you to mix and manipulate different pictures, to create a wide variety of images. * Remove, add or alter backgrounds. * Add or remove your loved and not so loved ones from your pictures. * Design eye-catching photo collages, illustrations, wallpapers, CD and DVD covers, and miscellaneous Web graphics.
