RecycleBinEx – freeware puts your Recycle Bin on steroids

RecycleBinEx is a new freeware utility which adds some very useful functionality to the Windows Recycle Bin. It makes the whole folder searchable, which in itself is super useful (especially if like me you keep your bin full of lots of very old junk), and you can also do selective delete/restore functions based on dates.

One other nice touch is the ability to scan all of your Recycle Bins, even if you have multiple Windows systems on your machine, great for dual boot machines. The developers have also allowed for scripting, so you can set your Bin to delete stuff every x days automatically, which is nice if you are running out of disk space. All in all a simple but valuable little program all round.

With RecycleBinEx, you can sort the items in recycle bin; group them according to the deleted time, the logical disk, etc. You can select and remove the deleted items which were deleted one day ago, two days ago, 7 days ago, …, 3 months ago by just one click. Or remove the deleted items of such as C disk only by one click, too.
