The new free Deviant Art Muro graphic drawing application is gorgeous. Of course you’ll need to be a ‘proper’ artist to get the most out of it, but boy does it help even us dufus types. It features layers, some great brushes and filters (needs $$$  for the best brushes of course) and Wacom tablet compatibility. Lovely.
