ES File Explorer – Simple, easy file explorer for Android

I’ve been playing with this ES File Explorer app for Android and it really is the business. Not only is it an easy-to-use file browser for your phone, but you can also use wifi to connect to network shares via SMB, including password protected ones. You can grab files, copy them to or from your Android phone and even move stuff around on your network if you need to. You can also connect via Bluetooth or drag stuff down via FTP if you’re so inclined.

There are a couple of small issues that I’ve found, on the Excalibur phone I’ve been using any files downloaded with ES don’t seem to show up in other applications unless you restart the phone. The other issue is you can only browse to network shares via their IP address, but you can save shares and give them aliases so it’s all easy. Best of you all you can get it from most Android markets, including SlideME. Simple and it’s free.

EStrongs File Explorer is a featured File/Application Manager which can explore the phones & PCs in LAN & Remote & Bluetooth. Key features: App/Process/File Manager * Root Explorer * Explorer on phone & LAN shared & FTP & Bluetooth * Play audio/video using chosen player/stream playing * view texts/images or other files with associated apps
