Amazon Price Watcher is a freeware program which lets you set up any number of custom price monitors for products. You say what price you’re willing to pay and the software will alert you if an Amazon price hits that point. It’s one of those things that can happen if you get lucky or are patient enough to wait for an Amazon special offer, but most of the time you’re probably only going to save pennies.
But then again, every penny counts, eh? The program works across a number of different countries, and you get a pretty good product search engine and library thrown in for free. Bargain!
You can set a target price for each item, so that Amazon PriceWatcher will inform you if any price reaches or falls below this value by highlighting the affected items in the library with different colors or by displaying notifications for each item. The advantage is that you have an overview of all current prices at Amazon and you can buy your favorite product as soon as its price falls below an adequate price.
