Dropitto.me is a new free service for Real Easy file sharing. All you need to do is set up an account, and then give someone a URL – e.g. dropitto.me/ferret - from where they can upload the file they want to give you.

The upload page requires a password for security, and uploaded files (max size 75MB) are automatically dumped into your Dropbox folder. That’s it. Sweet and simple. It’s in beta at the moment, but well worth bookmarking for emergencies. Oh and you can switch it on and off as needed for added security.

With DROPitTOme you can securely receive files from anyone to your Dropbox account. After authorization of our application Dropbox will grant us permission to add a folder within your Dropbox account called DROPitTOme. All the files sent to you via us will appear in this box. ALL your other files and folders will remain untouched within Dropbox…Also you will receive email notification when new file is uploaded.
