The Dipr – the cookie sandwich dunker

Not sure what to say about The Dipr cookie dunking tool really. Robert Haleluk, the inventor, tells me the thing holds cookie sandwiches so well that they won’t even fall out when you turn it upside down. He needs $10,000 to go into production, which he’s trying to raise from Kickstarter. Personally I think this looks more like a Quirky product, but what do I know? The ultimate niche product?

I came up with the idea for the dipr one evening while I was dunking my Oreo cookies in milk and I dropped the cookie into the milk. I turned to my wife Julie and say “That’s it.. I’m fed up. I can’t take this anymore!” and I set out to build a special utensil that prevents the cookie from being dropped. After a few months of sculpting, sanding, molding and casting different variations – the dipr was born.
