Sleeptracker uses your sleep patterns to wake you at the right time

The worst part of sleeping is when you have to wake up. It always seems like that alarm goes off at the worst possible time. What’s strange is that it really does often go off at the wrong time. No, you haven’t set the alarm wrong, your body just might not be quite ready to wake up. The sleep cycle has a number of phases, and depending on which one you’re in when the alarm goes off, you can feel considerably more rested than if woke during another. The trouble is that you have no idea which part of the cycle you’ll be in at precisely 6:30am.

So how does one make sure that they get woke up properly? Well one option is to use something like this Sleeptracker Elite Watch. What it does is measures your sleeping patterns during the night. Once it’s gathered enough data, you can program it to wake you up within a certain window of time. The watch will vibrate and/or beep when it feels you’re ready to get up. What is strange is that you might actually wake up five minutes earlier than normal, but feel considerably more rested. Unfortunately this promise of a better night’s sleep will set you back $180.

  • I always wished school could start in the afternoon because I didn't get enough sleep. I learnt that if I slept before midnight, it is easier for me to wake up. But I couldn't stick to it for long. I hope at least this would help me get a good sleep.
