Water Powered Micro Car teaches kids about alternative fuels

Eco racer Water Powered Micro Car teaches kids about alternative fuels

Remote controlled cars usually get their power from a rechargeable battery pack. Cheaper ones might use a set of AA’s, but those generally run out of juice pretty quick. Of course, these aren’t the only things you can use to get your R/C car moving. Heck, you could even use water!

This Eco-Racers Water Powered Remote Control Micro Car is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a tiny car that runs on water. If you’re imagining a stream of water shooting out the back, you’d actually be wrong. It uses a fuel cell which converts energy from the elements found in water. If you’re wanting to teach your kids about alternative fuels, this might be a neat $35 gift. Of course, the real kicker is that it still requires a pair of AA’s, presumably for the remote.
