Skype prepares to launch video chatting on the iPhone

Skype on the iPhone is hardly news, but a support document leaked some information that hints at the new ability of video chat. Letís give a round of applause to the upcoming CES and Skype for trickling out this nifty news. Now that front facing camera will actually have a purpose in life, because honestly, who uses Face Time?

Even though youíll likely need to have WiFi for it to work, it will still be rather convenient to not have to be tied to a laptop with webcam capabilities if you only have a specific slot of time to talk to someone. Itíll be extremely convenient for conversations with friends and family who are in a completely different time zone, or on the other side of the globe.
