I’m no graphic designer, so I don’t often find myself looking for a font to use. Of course when I do need to whip something together in Photoshop, I hate sifting through fonts. Usually I just pick Comic Sans and go about my business (I kid, I kid). Seriously though, there needs to be a better way to go through the fonts I’ve already got than highlighting some text and scrolling through each one. Actually, that’s exactly why Wordmark.it was created.
Wordmark.it is a very, very simple webapp for previewing fonts already installed on your computer. Just click a button to load them, and type in the text you want to preview. You can adjust the size of the fonts, invert the colors and even narrow down the fonts you want to see. It doesn’t get much easier than that.
