flipSYNC cable looks like a fob, charges your phone

flipSYNC flipSYNC cable looks like a fob, charges your phone

How many times have you needed to charge your phone, only to find that you have no cable to use? It’s happened enough that I have spare cables in my car, laptop bag, and anywhere else I can stash one. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a way to carry one with you at all times? That’s the idea behind Scosche’s flipSYNC II cable.

At first glance, the cable doesn’t look like a cable at all. Rather, you might mistake it for the fob that unlocks your car doors. That’s because it was designed to be carried on your keychain. When you need a quick charge, just flip out the two pieces, and plug them in. They come in two different versions. One has your standard iPhone charging connector, while the other is equipped with both miniUSB and microUSB plugs. Both are priced at $20 each.
