Trade your Kindle for real books

I love reading ebooks on my iPad. The ability to have hundreds or even thousands of books at my fingertips no matter where I am is a wonderful feeling. However, there is something to be said about a room lined with bookcases filled with classics, and the smell of ink on paper. If you’ve got a Kindle and would rather have a few more books in your collection instead, then you’re in luck.

A bookstore by the name of Microcosm Zine Store is offering to take that Kindle off of your hands (for full retail value, as determined on Amazon) in exchange for books from their store. That’s right, a current Kindle will fetch between $139 and $189, which will buy a lot of books, since most are priced between $2-$6. The biggest downside is that you’ll actually have to visit their store in Portland Oregon to get in on this deal.
