It’s not hard to get a new email address. There are any number of sites which can allow you to do so. In fact, it’s usually a good idea to take advantage of such free services, as you don’t always want to be handing out your primary address. Hotmail is trying to make things a little easier by allowing you to create disposable email addresses.
That’s right, Hotmail users can now create up to five disposable email addresses per year, which can be used for pretty much anything. The emails will be delivered to a folder in your inbox, and the addresses can be deleted whenever you like. I still like having a completely separate account, as it’s nice to keep my spam in one place, but for users that don’t want the hassle of remembering multiple logins, this should be a nice feature.
