Ahh steampunk. You always take things that are spiffy and new and turn them into things that are spiffy and old-fashioned. This CD player has got some boiler-esque flair, while also pulling off a modern look at the same time. The photos show the materials used, and some of the inner workings.

Though there is no real need to have a CD player like this, you have to admit it’s pretty cool. If only they sold this kind of thing in stores. Thankfully there are some pretty detailed instructions on how to make one yourself. Just be sure that you’ve gotten in a little practice with your Dremel.
