Ghost Rider personal GPS tracker

We’ve all seen those movies and read those news pieces about people getting lost or injured on a hike. When you’re in a remote area, there’s generally no cell phone reception to place a call. Sure, the phone might have a GPS chip, but the phone company isn’t going to track it down without a good bit of persuasion. What you need is a Ghost Rider personal GPS tracker.

This device is just what it sounds like, a device that tracks your location. It can be tracked on any computer through a simple web application. The battery can last several weeks, depending on how often the signal is set to update. The device itself will set you back $395, and you’ll need to sign up for a monthly contract, which starts at $17, and goes up, depending on how often you want to be able to locate the device.
