CAMJ Tiny SLR – the smallest DSLR in the world?

Camjtinydslr2

This CAMJ Tiny DSLR [translated] comes from the school of ridiculously small working gadgets. The 2 megapixel beast (hah!) is a fully functioning camera, which shoots SVGA images, records video at 30 fps and stores it all on microSD cards (like you use in phones). It can accept 32GB cards, which means a *lot* of shots.

Charging is done either via a small portable external charger which uses AA batteries as the power source or a USB port, and the whole thing comes with a one year guarantee. What it really needs of course is a lifetime ‘lost it down the back of the couch’ insurance policy, but that’s the risk you take with silly small, eh? Priced at around $97.00 in Yen stuff. [Via]

  • For $98USD you can do a lot better. 2 MP is terrible resolution. The lens can't be much good either.

  • Agree with Dennis, the pics won't be good compared to the standards nowadays. It is a cool thing being that small though.

  • It's not a DSLR. Do you know what DSLR stands for?

    • Yep Bob, you caught me. I was being just a tad over enthusiastic with the labelling. Sorry. :)

  • You can get a camera phone..

  • Super Mario has one of these.
