USB Powered Turntable is the perfect PC accessory for audiophiles

Oh vinyl, how we love theeeven though you tend to get ignored because of iTunes. That scratchy sound of vintage goodness is still alive and well though thanks to the good people at Evergreen. This record player is a little different than those that normally come in a giant box-case. However, it still has all of the necessary features that you’re looking for.

A USB Record Player Turntable was probably a better way to go seeing as everyone is connected at the fingertips to their computers. This turntable will connect to your computer by way of a USB cable, and outputs audio through your computer. There are also analog audio output jacks for speakers. Costing about $49, its not a bad deal, though it doesnt look like your record will be very well protected when in use.

  • I always wondered about the quality of these devices. $49? The cartridge on my turntable alone was ten times that much. I saw it as an investment since I wanted the best I could afford from my vinyl. I still have it along with a high-end turntable. But if I want to record it to disc (I have a burner with my stereo set-up) – it is a hassle. If anyone has ever tried one of these things, your opinion/observations would be valuable.
