Who said you can’t have your cake and eat it too? In this case, it’s toast combined with the latest in radios.
UK-based Breville has come up with a pretty fun device called, aptly enough, the VTT296 2 Slice Radio Toaster. With its smooth lines and sleek silver finish, though it brings to mind the 1950’s, its digital AM-FM display is definitely a new twist.
The toaster feature allows for a variety of sized bread slices and has an adjustment for variable browning control for dark or light. It even has a defrost setting for frozen slices. The radio’s controls sit underneath the speaker and include dials and buttons for volume, scanning, programming and presets. You can even feed in music from an external MP3 player through its auxiliary imput jack. All in all, for the reasonable price of $68, this is one cool compact gadget that would look great on any kitchen counter!
68 pounds maybe, not dollars…
