Google Smart Labels help sort your inbox

smart labels Google Smart Labels help sort your inbox

None of us like being stereotyped into a specific category. Though I doubt we’d mind if our email is stereotyped and categorized; provided Google sorts it for us. Google has announced a new feature for Gmail users called Smart Labels that will organize your email so you don’t have to.

I don’t know about everyone else, but my email inbox Is a mess of notifications, forum chatter, newsletters, etc. The occasional “real mail” will pop up here and there, but it’s usually pretty easy to spot. It’s pretty much going to be as if Gmail developed OCD and started cleaning your inbox, which I highly doubt anyone is going to complain about. The three categories to sort into are Bulk, Forums, and Notifications, which will hopefully make your email experience all the more enjoyable. Our lives are hectic and crazy enough so that we don’t want to sit down and sift through our mail, so Gmail is now going to help us out with that stack of emails and make sure we get to the important stuff without missing anything. Well done Google, well done.
