Remember� back in December when we warned you of the possible danger of letting your kids play certain apps on your iPhone? The danger was that if you’d entered your iTunes password within the last 15 minutes, your child could make in-app purchases on your dime. The Smurf’s Village app was notorious for being used by children to make such purchases. Well now with the latest version of iOS (which came out yesterday), you don’t have to worry about that any longer.

Once you download the update, you will find that any in-app purchase will require a password, regardless of how recently you entered it to buy something. This may annoy some owners who don’t want to be hassled for their password every time, but it will provide peace of mind for others.
