We’ve all experienced this at one time or another. Being out and about, and suddenly being hit with the want to listen to music, and no way to amplify it without having earbuds in.
Thanks to Mike and Scott Norrie of Australia, we now have a silicon amplifier in the works that will bump your ear buds sound up to 80 dB. That is the equivalent of listening to music from a car that’s 25 ft away. They had the idea when traveling through Africa and had no way to listen to tunes while watching the sun go down. As they are travelers, they would need something to be lightweight and easily packable, if not indestructible. So silicon was the best option and through Kickstarter, they’ll hopefully get enough help to have these in production soon. With a $39 pledge at minimum, you’ll get a pair of trunks when they ship out. They’ll come out with pink, green, gray and blue when production starts up.
