Nexus SM-8000 Silent Mouse – shhh…no clicking noise allowed

Nexussm8000silentmouse

The Nexus SM-8000 Silent Mouse comes with five buttons, none of which make any noise at all when pressed. Definitely silent, totally shtum. It features a tiny wireless USB dongle, 16 bit resolution and needs 2 x AAA batteries for power. If you’re in an environment where noise is a crucial factor, then this is probably the mouse for you, peeps.

The video below demonstrates the hush-iness of the thing, although unfortunately they’ve chosen to put it up against one of the best meeces in the universe, the Logitech MX. Anyway, expect pricing to be around $35.00 or so.

The Nexus Silent Mouse has a comfortable size and is an excellent mouse for desktop use. But also for laptop users it is very suitable. Especially because of the small nano receive which you plug in a USB port and leave it there. It is so small that you do not need to take it out…you just forget its there. Furthermore the mouse is made from quality surface treatments so it feels good in your hand.
