Wearable Tent looks silly, but keeps you dry

If you like to wander through the woods, you may find that you are sometimes caught in the rain when you would much rather not be. If you’re only going out and about for a day or so, and don’t feel like lugging out an entire tent with all the stakes and such, you may want to look into getting the Wearable Tent.

Although this is not really meant for long trips, it will work if you want to avoid the rain and stay warm. It is waterproof, and has zippered pockets that hold an integrated three-season sleeping bag and shelter. Even if you just feel like dozing off and want to be bug-free and in the shade, this is a nice way to hunker down and have some sort of protection. It costs about $250, and even comes with a mosquito net if you want to camp out in your backyard without the use of bug-repelling candles or zappers.
