With debit cards and Paypal, it’s a wonder that anyone still writes checks. The only thing I still write checks for is my rent every month, simply because it’s the only method my landlord will accept. Once in a great while I’ll receive a check from someone, which used to mean a trip to the bank to cash it. Since Paypal introduced the ability to deposit checks via iPhone last year, I’ve not had to visit the bank.
So what about Android users? Well fear not, the company has finally released that same functionality for the Android platform. Now whenever you receive a check, you need only open the app, and snap a picture, and wait for the check to clear.
