If I’m using my laptop for long periods of time, I generally switch to a mouse, rather than using the trackpad for hours. A mouse is just so much easier to use, and I seem to get things done fast when I use one. Unfortunately you don’t always have the best surface to use your pointer on. One option is to carry a mouse pad in your bag. Another is to get one of these SmartFish Travel Pouches.
This pouch is interesting because not only does it act as a mouse pad, but you can actually zip it up and store/protect the mouse itself. No, it might not be the most innovative thing on the planet, but I like the idea that it is functional, even when you’re not using the computer. For just $15, I’d say you wouldn’t be wasting your money if you picked one up.
