Mouse pads might not seem like the most interesting of topics. After all, it’s some sort of mat that sits on your desk and makes sure that your mouse glides around smoothly. Aside from some having wrist rests, you really don’t see much deviation from pad to pad (unless you count the cute kittens or puppies printed on them). However, this new War Pad from XFX looks rather interesting.

Not content just to sit on your desk, this mousepad actually extends out and clips under the desk. This prevents your arm from resting on a hard edge, and instead sits on a soft, curved surface. It also helps prevent the pad from moving around while you’re gaming or working. It is aimed at the PC gaming crowd, however, if you simply sit at your computer for long hours, you may find it beneficial as well. The $50 price tag seems a bit expensive for a simple mouse pad, but it might be a small price for comfort.
