Spotify announces US service

spotify Spotify announces US service

If you live in the US like I do, you’re probably not very familiar with Spotify. For those not in the know, Spotify is a music streaming service that is very popular in Europe. With a collection of over 13 million tracks to choose from, you can create playlists for your desktop, laptop, cell phone and just about any other device for free.

So why the mention of this service? Well, it has just been announced that it will finally be landing on US shores very soon. The company has been working with American music labels in order to bring their services here, and it appears that they have finally worked out all of the necessary deals. The only time frame they’ve given is soon, but you can go ahead and sign up for an invite, so that you’ll be among the first to use it in the US.
