Nothing is quite so dull as watching a progress bar on your computer. I tend to copy large files across to my file server, so I’m familiar with seeing this boring box. Fear not though, as there is now a way to make it a lot more interesting, or annoying, depending on how you look at it.
The Nyan Cat Progress Bar is a Windows app that does one simple thing. It turns your progress bar into Nyan Cat, and plays the corresponding song until your files have finished copying. There are a few extra features that allow it to be silenced when you’re listening to music through iTunes or Winamp. Now I’m off to go install this on my roommate’s computer.
