I’ve owned a number of digital cameras, and the only one I’ve ever seen fit to carry in a protective case is my DSLR. While the others did cost a bit of money, it always seemed too much of a hassle to put it in a protective case. This added bulk to the camera, thus making it more difficult to carry around (unless stored in a larger bag) and didn’t do anything more than keep it from getting scratched. Well, if you like using a travel case, but want it to have a little extra functionality, check out the Pose case.
This case looks pretty basic, with a rubber outer lining and a zipper. However, you’ll find that when you unzip it completely, you’ll actually be able to use it as a flexible tripod. It uses a series of bendable wires to keep its shape while supporting your camera. Currently they are up for presale at a price of just $24. With enough people signing up to buy, they’ll have these in production in no time.
