Working or playing games at a monitor for too long can dry your eyes out. You’ll be blinking, squinting, and have red eyes by morning if you’re not careful. The two main causes for all these eye woes are either that you are pretty tired, or you’re eyes are dehydrated. You can’t just go grab a water bottle and fix this problem, but the company in Japan named J!NS will soon have the solution.
A new line of eye wear is going to hit the market in October that comes with moisture reservoirs that will help keep your eyes refreshed and moisturized. The little reservoirs can be filled with plain old water or eye drop solution, and will work their magic for up to two hours. This means that you’ll need to get up and refill them every so often, but hey, we could all use a break from the screen every now and then right? When they hit the stores, they’ll only come in pink, but that will change over time. For a price of only about $50, this is a pair of glasses that you’ll want to keep your eye on. (Get it? Because they’re glasses! Oh nevermind…)
