QuickForget allows you to send anonymous self-destructing messages

quickforget QuickForget allows you to send anonymous self destructing messages

When I was a kid, I loved to watch Inspector Gadget. He had some pretty cool stuff built right into him, though most of the time he simply blundered his way through the episode with the help of his niece and dog. What always made me laugh was that his communications were always in the form of a letter, which would self-destruct after reading. Naturally, Chief Quimby would always be on the receiving end of the exploding letter. I always wondered how they would manage to make a note self-destruct. Well now you can do that very thing, only instead of causing an explosion, it simply disappears.

No, this doesn’t involve some sort of high-tech dissolving paper. Rather, it is the power of the internet that allows for this capability. All you need to do is head over to QuickForget, enter your message and specify how long you want it to remain visible. You can choose to have it available for a certain period of time, or allow for a specific number of views. Then, you will be given a URL, which can be sent to someone else. Once it has been viewed enough times, or the allotted time has passed, the URL will no longer work.
