Riding your bike at night can be a dangerous affair. Motorists don’t always see you when it’s light outside, so it can be even more difficult at night. Having reflectors is really not good enough, you need to have some sort of light on your bike that is always shining through the darkness. A simple headlight and tail light will suffice, but if you really want to brighten up your two-wheeler, you might check out the Bikeglow Safety Light.

This device is essentially a 10′ rope light for your bike. You can set it to blink at three separate paces, so as to make sure that everyone sees you coming. The light is completely waterproof and runs off of a pair of AA batteries. It will set you back $25 and comes in 8 different colors.
