If you’ve ever read The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, you’re no doubt familiar with the compendium from which the book gets its title. I’ve often wondered what it would look like, if such a thing actually existed in today’s world. As it turns out, I only have a short time left to wonder, as it will be a reality very soon.

Coming in the form of a mobile app, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy will provide the same sort of information that was described in the books. What’s more, it will not only be accompanied by cartoony pictures, but it will also be narrated by Simon Jones. For those not familiar, he was the original Arthur Dent for the old radio shows. There hasn’t been a solid release date given, but it should be out rather soon. Hopefully before Deep Thought can calculate its answer to life, the universe and everything.
