Have you ever been interested in recording video that’s been magnified a great deal? This can obviously be done with a fancy USB microscope. But what if you already have a spare webcam, and don’t feel like spending the money on something new? That’s when you put your DIY skills to good use.
If you already have a webcam, you can go get yourself a small Illuminated Microscope, and attach the cam to it, as per this guide. It will take a little bit of work, but not a lot of parts. The most difficult thing will be the soldering, so you’ll want to have a steady hand. In the end, you’ll have a nice USB microscope that you put together with your own two hands.
