When you’re a young child, it doesn’t take that much to entertain you. A simple ball can provide countless hours of fun. When you’re an adult, you’re going to lose interest in it pretty quickly, unless you’re playing a sport of some sort. That, or you’ve got yourself a Sphero.

Sphero might look like a rather ordinary ball, however, it has something special inside. When paired up with an Android or iOS device, it can be controlled with a touch of the screen. You have complete control of the ball’s movement, as well as features such as �speed boost� (to get over objects, or away from the family pet) or the color of the ball itself. The $130 price seems pretty steep for a toy, but I’m sure it would be a lot of fun.
