Build your own WiFi speakers

If I’m at home and listening to music, I’m probably using my computer to do it. There are times when I’m going to be out in the garage, or another part of the house, and I’d like to have that same music with me. I can generally do this with my phone, but I don’t have all of my music on there. Instead, I could construct a pair of WiFi speakers to stream my music anywhere.

One hacker had the same issue as I do, and not only constructed a pair of wireless speakers, but made a full guide on how to do it yourself. It isn’t a project for the faint of heart, as it does require a good bit of work. Thankfully he has provided the necessary code that is used in the Arduino, so at least that part is out of the way. The other downside is that you’ll only get to stream at 32kbps.
