iOnRoad lets you know when you’re too close to another vehicle

slide bg iOnRoad lets you know when youre too close to another vehicle

When we’re driving on the highway, we can have a hard time paying attention to the road. This is mainly because we don’t really have anything to look at, plus it’s easy to become sleepy or get distracted. What with children in the backseat that need taming, the blaring radio, and the occasional phone call. It would take no time at all to be on someone else’s bumper and not even know it. If you have an Android and experience these sorts of problems, the iOnRoad may be an app worth downloading.

This radar app will let you know when you are too close to other vehicles on the road. All you need do is mount your phone somewhere in your car so that the camera can see the road, and it will judge the distance of the car in front of you. If you do happen to be tailgating or are close to doing so, the app will give you a little warning that will let you know it’s time to start braking. It can even be used while other apps are going, so it’s worth a look, as it may even save you from a wreck one day. If you grab it while it’s still in beta, you can download it for free.

This looks like it could be useful, however I tried to find this app in the market and nothing came up? Samsung Galaxy S2

Oh, I just realized that this is still in beta so it's not in the market yet, but I did download it from their site (link in the article)
