Nothing is worse during a cookout than getting halfway through the grilling and running out of gas. Then you have to either rush off to get a new tank, or try and finish up in the kitchen. Neither is exactly an appealing solution. So what is the best way to solve this problem? To prevent it from happening in the first place. What you need is this Digital BBQ Gas Bottle Scale.
The idea behind this is pretty ingenious, really. All you need to do is affix the strap to your gas bottle, then lift. It will measure the weight of the bottle, and tell you how much gas is left. I’m guessing you’ll need to calibrate it by weighing an empty bottle, then after that you’ll just need to lift it before you fire up the grill. For $40, you can make sure you never run out of fuel in the middle of cooking again.
