Magic-Pro adds SATA-III to your older system

So let’s say that you want to get a shiny new SSD for your computer, to help speed up file transfer times and such. Naturally, you’re going to want the latest and greatest technology, which is SATA-III. Sadly, despite having a fairly recent machine, your computer only supports SATA-II. What do you do? You order one of these Magic-Pro add-on cards.

The Magic-Pro plugs into your PCI-Express slot and gives you a pair of SATA-III connections. This will allow you to take advantage of the full 6Gbps speeds that the newer standard has to offer. What’s more, you don’t have to worry about your chassis not having a hard drive caddy that supports 2.5-inch drives. The Magic-Pro will actually hold two of the tiny drives, making your life much easier. At $45, it’s worth the money if you need the extra speed, but don’t want to replace your motherboard.
