One For All remote gives you motion controls

Over the years our TV’s and media players have undergone considerable changes. However, the remotes that control them have remained relatively unchanged over the last couple of decades. Sure, I’ve seen a few universal remotes with LCD screens, but those are few and far between. This One For All Smart Motion Remote Control is one of the first new ones to actually add something new to the mix.

The One For All has the same basic functions as any other remote, but with something special thrown into the mix. Instead of searching for the right buttons to press, you can actually move the controller itself to send certain signals to your device. For instance, if you point the controller at your DVD player, then move it to the right and back, it will skip forward. There are a total of six special functions, which are play, pause, skip forward, skip backward, mute and power off. It’s a bit expensive, at around $56, so you’ll have to decide just how important motion controls are to your movie watching experience.
