Bluetooth Handset looks uncomfortable to use

Sometimes I find new products to be amusing. It usually has a lot to do with the way they are marketed. This Blutooth Handset TK2 would be one such device. This handset will connect to your smartphone, and allow you to use it for talking, rather than the phone itself. What I can’t figure out is why you would want to do that. It’s considerably smaller than your phone, and thus, is going to be more uncomfortable to hold. And if you’re going to hold up something to your ear anyway, why not cut out the middleman and just hold your phone? This would only be useful if you needed to charge the phone, and didn’t have a long enough cord to reach your head. At least with the iPhone, it looks like you can control Siri using this handset.

Yes, you can use this with other Bluetooth-enabled devices like laptops and tablets, which makes it somewhat useful. Actually, you can pair it with two different devices, which might cut down on some hassle, I suppose. But I still think that with the slim design, this is going to be very uncomfortable to hold. Most people are going to want to either get something big enough that’s comfortable to hold, or small enough that it fits on your ear. $23 isn’t much to pay, but I think you can find something much better for the money.
