The iPad is an expensive piece of mobile computing hardware. Though if you drop the cash on one, you’ll probably find it to be useful in a number of different ways. Checking email, surfing the net, watching videos are all great ways to use it. However, it may surprise you to learn that this high-tech piece of equipment is actually nothing more than an expensive cat toy. It’s pure coincidence that you can use it for those other things.

Friskies has released several iPad apps that will keep your cat entertained for quite some time. They all involve small objects moving around the screen, which your feline friend can interact with. Of course, if my cat had front claws, I might have trouble letting her play with something like this. Sure, their claws shouldn’t be able to hurt that glass, but the idea still makes me cringe.
