iStation attempts to mimic the Apple I

If you have an eye for rare computers, then you know that the Apple I is among the rarest of them all. With only around 200 produced, and roughly 50 or so still in existence, anyone would be lucky to get their hands on one. Of course, you’re much more likely to procure one of these iStations, which seem to pay homage to the original Apple product.

This fancy iPad stand gives you a removable keyboard, speakers and even a USB port and 3.5mm jack for playing audio from another source. It’s too bad that this ended up looking more cheesy than anything. With a bit of tweaking, it could have been a sleek tablet dock. But for $86, I can’t imagine many people buying one.
