Steampunk Playing Cards

The year is 1861. You’ve decided to take a break from the repairs on your airship after taking a few nasty plasma bolts to the hull. You’re at a local tavern playing a hand of poker with a few of the other captains who are docked. What cards are you playing with? The Bicycle Steampunk Playing Cards, of course.

Now you might wonder how a deck of cards can fall into the realm of steampunk, but it’s perfect, if you think about it. Poker was a popular game during the Victorian era, especially in saloons in the old west. These cards were made with the popular sci-fi history in mind. The box was crafted from bronze paper that was made specifically for this project. The type of paper used was not in existence before this. It has been stamped and debossed to create a unique look. The cards themselves are a work of art, with over 12 million 3D polygons going into their design. At just $6 for a deck, this is a great addition to any steampunk collection.
