When you’re giving an important presentation, you want to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. One of the keys to doing this is to ensure that no one is paying attention to the technology that you’re using, and instead focusing on the content. If you’re constantly having to fumble with a laptop to change slides, then you’ll lose your momentum, and things won’t go quite as smooth as you’d hoped. Logitech thinks that they have exactly what you need for these situations.
The Logitech Cube is a hybrid device that combines a mouse and presentation device into one. The gadget is very tiny, fitting snuggly in the palm of your hand. When it sits on a surface, it acts like a mouse, letting you click and scroll like any other. The difference is that to scroll, you’ll simply slide your finger up and down on the surface, much the same way you would on your touchscreen phone. When you pick up the Cube, it instantly goes into Presentation Mode. You need only click to move forward, or turn the device over and click to go backward. If you give a lot of presentations, you might find the $70 purchase to be well worth it.
