Modern technology is great, as we’re now able to store larger amounts of data on smaller chips. looking back at the floppy disks I used to use, amazes me how little they hold in comparison to modern flash drives and memory cards. Unfortunately there is another issue that arises when you keep shrinking down memory cards. Take microSD cards, for example. These little guys measure just 15mm x 11mm, which is about the size of a fingernail. While it’s great that it takes up less room in your camera, they can get lost very easily. What you need is something to keep track of these tiny cards for you.
This little chunk of plastic is roughly the size of a credit card (only a bit thicker) and hold 10 microSD cards, and one microSD-to-SD adapter. Each card is firmly locked into place, so that it won’t fall out. They’re so secure that they put a hole in for a keychain, so you can carry your cards around like that, if you choose. For just $7, this is the perfect way to carry around multiple cards.
If you really want to maximize the potential of this gadget, and you already have some extra microSD cards, you might have a look here. This person put the installation media for several different operating systems (and other software) onto the cards. This essentially gives you a great little toolbox in the shape of a credit card. Would certainly be much better than carrying around a bunch of flash drives.
