Getting out of bed in the morning during winter can be exceedingly difficult sometimes. We try and use caffeine or a hot shower to get us going, but light is actually the best way to wake us up. Three guys in Denmark used this natural method and started a Kickstarter campaign for a way to beat the winter blues. All of this has been compacted into a pair of sunglasses.

It’s called �Seqinetic� and it is boasted as wearable light. This contraption utilizes 6 LEDs, and a reflector to synthesize daylight when you’re stuck in the overcast gloom of winter. It doesn’t put the light directing into your eyes, so you won’t be blinded by it, if that was a big concern. Only two AAA batteries are needed to power this pair of sunglasses, and is supposed to only be used for about thirty minutes a day. The result will hopefully be an improved mood. This is supposed to retail for $80, which seems a bit ridiculous as you could just buy a wall light that does the same thing without obstructing your view.
